A cookery school for everyone.
The Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School is situated at Highfield Farm near the picturesque village of Southburn, four miles from Driffield. Surrounded by the panoramic views of the Yorkshire countryside, The Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School is the perfect place to relax, socialise and most of all improve your cookery skills!
Our popular and well equipped cookery school serves as the testbed for our two main end products, pork and beef. The school provides facilities and professional expertise to monitor and promote eating quality as well as developing new recipes and training students of all ages and abilities in the art of cooking high quality, locally produced food. The school can accommodate up to fifty people for cookery demonstrations and also has eight individual stands for a hands on, practical experience.
We were delighted to be shortlisted in the Best Cookery School, England category at the 2017 Food Awards. George, Lynne and Alison attended a glittering awards ceremony in Manchester on 2nd October and were thrilled to be named as the winner.
Highfield Farm Guesthouse offers comfortable bed and breakfast rooms for both the cookery school clients and those wanting a short break in the countryside. The cookery school can be hired by corporate clients along with the excellent conference facilities at our Visitor Centre located at the Southburn site.
